NCAA athletes are already pros. Athletic Scholarships.

They deserve to be able to market themselves as they so choose just like anyone else.

I think where I come down on the direct player/college financial relationship is to let the players form a union to offset the practical cartel that is the NCAA. If they can then collectively bargain direct payments in, more power to them.

I say pay ‘em but the dollars have to be equal or else if you think you’re sick of seeing the same teams win all the time now, boy howdy get used to it forever.
