I think Gigaton was an outlier, I'm not hopeful we'll ever see anything like it again.

It's not a great record but it was at least dignified, respectable.

I'm not saying I'll kill them!

You're also not saying you won't

Does trag think end of life is 60? Is this why he's pushing the panic button so frequently?

That last one is for trag. Trag, it isn't bad production, it's just electrified creativity!
that's actually Mrs. Trag's name for me in the bedroom
Fast, Punky, and Chunky?

“…Wreckage and Got to Give, both driving slabs of highly melodic heartland rock.”

Ugh…there is the dad rock of Springsteen/Mellencamp. Not sure what to think of that. They both could be better than I would think hopefully. Got to Give was also described like The Who. I would rather have The Who influence over Springsteen or Mellencamp. The metal door clip of Got to Give has me intrigued so I’ll see…

I’m really looking forward to React, Respond based on that Knac review. I can tell it’s going to be a banger.

If we have to have Earthling bleed into these songs, I don’t mind if it has some resemblance to The Dark, which is Vedder’s best Springsteen impression yet.

Once I hear both songs I’ll know if it’s not bad for “heartland rock” as described in that review. That’s the first review I’ve seen songs described as heartland rock.

every possible musical genre and descriptor has good and bad incarnations. That doesn't tell us anything about the quality of a song
