Brody is an incredible actor.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

He’s literally stealing other people’s time here and they let him do it because and they knew beforehand, very second of the night is rehearsed multiple times in the week before.
Trag, you gotta tell me why you hate him so much. I don't know much about his personal life, but I love his performances in The Pianist and The Brutalist. I haven't even seen him in much else, other than Wes Anderson movies, but I'm not sure if they count as real performances from anyone in those movies, so deadpan and all.tragabigzanda wrote:lol. it's acceptable behavior in some relationships, when you trust and love someone. it's not like he rubbed it in her hair! he forgot to spit it out and didn't want to be chewing gum during his speech!dimejinky99 wrote:And throwing your used gum out, ‘at his girlfriend’ cos that’s better. no, some people do, when they're speaking from the heart. this is probably the last oscar he will win for the rest of his life, and he didn't want to regret leaving somebody out. maybe he regretted leaving some people out last timeMecca wrote:Nobody wants to listen to someone ramble that much; it’s selfish
No, if you are in a happy relationship, this is nothing. You’ll do far more for your partner than pick up their gum before a speech.dimejinky99 wrote:And throwing your used gum out, ‘at his girlfriend’ cos that’s better. Rude fuckin asshole.
yup. damn, anders might be my new favorite RMerAnders wrote:No, if you are in a happy relationship, this is nothing. Not true, I love a good speech. More than anything else from the Oscar’s show, like the music and comedy.Mecca wrote:Nobody wants to listen to someone ramble that much; it’s selfish
It can't be "industry standard" because it's such new technology. There is no standard yet as to how it is implementedtree_ wrote:But uh, you might want to look into that AI stuff. Not egregious, and pretty much industry standard stuff.
