I could get behind this if
Speakerboxx wasn't such a stinker. Its a real shame because
The Love Below kicks all kinds of ass. Props for thinking outside the box.
there's not a world where ghettomusick, unhappy, bowtie, the rooster, war, church, et al are housed on a "stinker."
I'll give you "Ghettomusick" but that's where I draw the line. Different strokes, I guess.

I think I'll listen to
The Love Below.
Fuck that, I liked it.

I think they had a better 3 album run than any combination of PJ albums
BMF is a 3.5 star album. Sorry. Agreed on the latter, though.

The production fucking sucks and some of the songs fall too far into generic hard rock for my liking.

Ghettomusic is one of my favorite things ever. It reminds me of Dance On by Prince, but on PCP.

"Gangsta Shit" is one of my favorite songs ever. They're such an amazing band, err, group. Ah, whatever.

Well yeah, like many early 90s albums its production is an 80s hangover, but so many classic albums have that problem and I can look past it. As far as genericism goes, I dunno man. I'd take "Searching With My Good Eye Closed" and "Slaves & Bulldozers" over every post BMF track (except maybe Like Suicide)

You're fucking crazy. "Like Suicide" is incredible, though.

BMF is the cutoff album for me. That's the reason sometimes I feel the need to explain that I'm not a full SG fan. I absolutely adore Super and Down but I can't be fucking around with anything else they've done. It is what it is.

Well, obviously "Rusy Cage" and JCP, but I'll give BMF another listen in the coming days to check myself.
