I have seen them once before, a really fun show at Thebarton Theatre in February 1998. Good times.
I'll probably go, though I might wait to see if more GA tickets come up at some point (they're sold out currently).

When's the last time a foo actually tried to start a fight at one of their gigs?

Cool. It's great when Dave pops. He's a damn fine drummer.

This album is pretty good. Stronger than I expected.
They're also a kickass live show. I'd go see them for a third time if they'd scheduled a Montreal show this summer, but they didn't.

Seeing the Foos tomozza night. More excited about seeing them play some of the covers they've been busting out lately than anything from the new album.

Last night's B-stage mini cover set did not disappoint:
Detroit Rock City
Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love (with Brad FUCKING Wilk

)
Let There Be Rock
Under Pressure
That stretch was a definite highlight, followed by a balls-out All My Life to get back into the Foo stuff.
The setlist was disappointingly similar to their last show here in 2011, even much of Dave's banter/jokes was recycled from last tour
With only 25 songs over a 2 ¾ hour show, I think their penchant for stretching out every single instrumental interlude into a 5-minute jam is getting a tad tiresome. Having said that, they're still a well-oiled meat'n'potatoes rock machine and put on a fun show

Nah. After flying out to see Soundgarden in Melbourne this week on relatively short notice, I'm definitely out.
