It's a pretty long course and has decent amount of diversity between holes.

Then there's Devens which is a shorter par 3 course but situated around a big hill so there's a lot of elevation changes. The fairways here aren't as deliberately placed so a lot of the shots are trickier with the trees. http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1186
I get to play the Vibram Birdie Bash up at Phantom Falls http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=3129this weekend, but my home course is Jellystonehttp://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=3874. They don't have Sakuna Pines listed, but it should be in my courses played. Same name as here.

When I lived in Colorado Springs in the mid 90's we used to play Widefield all the time. Is that course still there?

Still there, about the same, the creek still runs high when they drain the lake. Also we have another just South in Fountain that was put in a couple of years back: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4531

Turkey creek is just long. and hot and windy in the summerhttp://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4241

they pulled HP last summer. We did have good reaction last night in putting a course in at Quail lake.

Phantom is awesome, it's all about the experience since it's probably one of the more expensive pay per plays. Paulie is an awesome host, and you get the course to yourself, which is cool since everytime I've played at an event it can get congested. I consider Paul a friend and he lets me play some of the other private invit eonly courses up there when I bring in people from out of town. To play the course it's close to 3 miles of walking up and down the hills, nothing is flat unless it's one ridge to another.

Fun fact about Widefield. That was the site of UA flight 585 that killed 25 people.

it's hole 3, and there are 25 trees and a covered "shrine" there. Considered bad luck to throw into the trees, but not to sit at the covered shrine and burn one. We were playing when the families of those that died were wrapping the trees with white cloth on the 20th anniversary.

Another fun fact about that course; I once took a d*mp behind a concrete drainage pipe that was laying in an open field on one of the holes there.

if i can get out of work on time tonight, we are going to try and run over to Peaks View Park for a round
and i might go into one of the ball fields before the round and see if i can get the hang of forehand throws, i tries a couple last week and they were disasters  i just dont get the way to hold it, when i do what i see in videos and stuff it seems to hang on my fingers instead of releasing smooth.
