Ok, I really haven't been following this, but this kid was going for his gun and got shot?

i think it depends on whose version of events you believe
the chief says he wasnt stopped for a strong armed robbery
wilson says he pulled him over because of a strong armed robbery
witness pal (co strong arm robber) says brown was grabbed from by the officer in the car by his throat
brown is a big kid i cant imagine a cop other than stretch armstrong being able to reach out of his car and grab a guy by his throat
they say there was no struggle and brown had his arms raised in surrender style
others say he charged the cop again
there are just so many mismatching versions i have no idea who to believe

Mike Brown was unarmed and gunned down. I personally believe he did do something to warrant an arrest/reprimand but ultimately this officer either was confused, got caught up in the moment or is an asshole and just kept pulling the trigger.

I'm inclined to believe the chief when it comes to "did the robbery have anything to do with his apprehension" aspect. When they released the officers name, and the robbery info/video the other day, it as done in a very curious way. I listened to that press conference and they strongly implied one had to do with the other, without ever actually saying it definitively. It reeked of the police banking on lazy journalism connecting conveniently placed dots that didn't have much to do with each other.
them not releasing the officers name i am ok with (just as a matter of protection for him because you cannot have vigilante justice[no matter what people say the cops actions were]) but yea everything seems suspect. the chief said the stopping had nothing to do with it. a friend of wilson states it did.
grabbing brown by the throat doesnt add up if the cop was in a cruiser. could the kid have charged him again and fearing for his life he shot him? possible. probable?
i wouldnt be surprised if they release video showing something like a gun near the body to justify the shooting.

Apparently marijuana was in his system, which just means he smoked pot sometime in the last month, but I'm sure someone will find a way to spin it so the junky deserved to die.

do they normally not cover bodies in the street? I know it's only a 10 minute video, but that seems like 10 minutes too long.
It's sickening and disrespectful, but the cops explained that the ambulance that was dispatched was delayed at another location. (Plus they probably had to wait for the whole crime tech team before moving the body). CNN has been running a different video of the scene all day, I guess they don't want to air a video where the bystander claims Brown rushed at the cop.
