I have faith that they'll find a good ending for the show. They know what they're doing. But, to me, death is too good for Walt. I'd rather see him lose everyone he loves and have to live with what he's done.

Having said that, I'm sure he's gonna die.

I thought it was confirmed that this was all just a prologue to Malcolm In The Middle?

That would be solid... like he meets Jane K. at Sklar's funeral.

The vitriol for Skylar always amuses me. Pretty sure everyone subconsciously hated her because she got fat and fucking another guy I guess.

I really hope it is Jesse who kills Walt and the whole series is really about Jesse turning into a good guy.

I'm not sure about anything on this show. Every time I think I can see what's around the corner, somehow they get me.

My current best guess is Walt sacrifices himself in some way in an attempt to absolve everyone he's dragged down with him. Without at least some meager attempt at redemption this will be a real big downer, karma-wise. VG has stated somewhere he's looking to hit some kind of Casablanca note in the finale...I still can't wrap my head around what that means, except that I guess it means nobody gets exactly what they want.

I think that's exactly what it means.

Honestly, this show has never been a big "shocker" type of show for me. I've seen all the "big twists" coming (except last season:
Spoiler: show
killing the kid in cold blood, totally surprised me. Not because the did it, but because I'd forgotten that kid was in the opening of the episode.
) What I think is great about the show is that it doesn't matter whether or not I see it coming, I still feel the full weight of those moments. I'll take that kind of writing over SURPRISE! any night of the week.
