Me too, except I don't think I made it to the end of S2. Distressed women acting irrationally is not my most favored plot device. Shit is weak.

I found myself not caring throughout the episode. I chalk it up to too many new folks. As season premieres go, that felt like a dud.

Anyone else thought the woman Rick met in woods was a zombie who was somehow turning back to normal? But then she died and that was that?
The zombies falling through the roof and the resulting attack was pretty good though, certainly the high point of the episode. Nice but subtle shoutout to the local brew Sweetwater IPA in that scene.
I'll let other comment on the last bit of the episode. I'm sure it's related to us getting two shots of Rick looking at the zombie who seemed to have had his eyes poked out.

so people living in density means a bigger risk of disease, a disease (probably carried through the water supply as there was the close up on the shower head) that kills people quickly, which means anyone can turn quickly. so basically, the prison arrangement is fucked so it'll most likely be rick and his posse again at the end of the season.

looks to be about 6/7 months since we saw them last. Rick's taken a step back from being the boss, takin the dad role more seriously. There's now a counsel. Michonne's going out constantly to find The Governor. They're still taking people in. Beth is one cold chick. Hershel's got a leg. Everything seems good, which is why things are going to go downhill quickly in the next 2 eps, according to the show runner.

Who's feeding the walkers!?!?

Yes. I thought they were going to show that some people were immune, giving Rick a reason to keep going. After about 30 seconds I was convinced she was cannibal. What I didn't get was if that was her baby or husband under the blanket.

Eye's bled out, I think Spike got right; A fatal disease (swine flu?) from inadequate sanitation.

I too thought the woman was a zombie at first. I actually thought maybe they would make her have low level cognitive skills and turn the whole zombie idea upside down like they were evolving. (that was my immediate though obviously quickly i realized she was just a crazy bitch)

I really liked the episode outside of the fact that they seem to romance everyone up a little. I really liked rick's adventure with clara. I hope they break the show off a little and send michone and maybe one other out on a mini adventure searching for the Guv.

The idea of disease in the camp is great.

I love D'Angelo from the Wire joining the cast! Him and Cutty need to bring Avon into the fold. They could run the prison like it was the towers in Bmore then! :haha:

I wanted to the pig to jump up and run around zombie style.

I want zombie animals...pigs, bear, boar, monkeys etc.

So Darryl licked all his fingers before he shook that kids hand earlier in the episode. Me thinks Darryl is in for some trouble. Obviously he's the most popular character on the show so it's highly unlikely they will kill him, but I'm guessing they will come up with a way to cure the sick to save him?
