ok, not a lot of chatter about this episode.

This episode was embodied everything I love about this show. everything that has been lost in 80% of the last season. Dialogue, confrontation, one on one, lack of dream like drug like bullshit tripping.

So, not entirely caught, but now in custody. I really look forward to the red dragon storyline but now that the season is soon coming to a close...is it too late?

^^It was definitely the strongest episode of the season. While most would agree that the first half has veered far too closely to having its head up its own ass, I think it was great and having patience with the slow, dreamy episodes pays off in the latest one. It rewards those who stuck with it by giving us what we want, albeit in a typically different way.
Spoiler: show
The way Hannibal winds up in custody is genius, with Hugh and Mads acting it perfectly. The little side glance Hannibal gives Will after telling Jack he wanted them to always know where he was, was perfect. Hannibal always in control, one way or another.

I think its a crying shame that the show is over after this season. The first half of the season was necessary in order for this one to be so powerful, and now that Hannibal is in custody I think the Red Dragon stuff is going to be stellar and is going to feel a bit more like the older episodes. If only NBC had more faith in the show. But without the ratings, they don't care :(

A fetus in a pig?? Hell no. :shake:

I know I'm way late to the party but I'm going to start watching (well, DVRing) the Red Dragon episodes.

Last night's episode was GREAT. The Red Dragon arc has loads of promise.
Spoiler: show
Feels like old school Hannibal again, which I'm sure will please those who didn't enjoy the more dreamy first half of the season. Dialogue is more natural, plot is moving at a good pace. I'm excited.

I thought Digestivo was pretty weak. It went for over-the-top perverse and landed on high camp. The pacing was wonky and the resolution felt rushed. The first half of this season was a big mess and this followed suit.

On the other hand, they nailed the start of the Red Dragon arc. This last episode was a definite return to form, and I mean beyond the obvious ways. Still, it's a shame this show's final season will probably feel so lopsided.

I don't know how Mads isn't winning awards for this. Also, I absolutely loved Anderson in this last episode.

these episodes have also introduced the most disturbing aspect of the series thus far: rutina wesley's man hands.

Fuck this last episode was good.

It's already available online, but it plays tomorrow in the US.

I watched it this morning.
Spoiler: show
The whole scene with Dolarhyde going to Will's home to try and kill Molly and Walter was intense, to say the least

Hannibal was such a little shit in this episode. Gloriously diabolical.

I can just imagine the fandom's collective squeal when Will finally vocalized the subtext

unless he had it done somewhere else, seems to me it wouldn't be hard for the fbi to canvas area tattoo parlors and ask around about an entire human back sized red dragon tattoo. it's memorable and wouldn't be too many of them.
