I love this live era of Pearl Jam. The energy was just intense. Angry but focused. Love it!
I agree, the new mix sounds strange. There's something weird about Ed. I've given up on it.Kevin Davis wrote:I checked out a few of the remixed tracks, and I overwhelmingly prefer the original mix. For the most part, I just don't care for the way a lot of these AI/demix projects sound. All of them just seem to have this wonky off-centeredness to them that is really unpleasant to me.
This much more gently remastered version by WCT is, for my tastes, the best-sounding and most complete version out there:

Even "official" AI remixed stuff sounds crap in its own way.Kevin Davis wrote:I checked out a few of the remixed tracks, and I overwhelmingly prefer the original mix. Same point of view. I’ve heard Release and Garden and I decide to give up. Eddie’s voice doesn’t sound natural excess of treatment makes some “tremors” that doesn’t exit in original record. After Release I play Garden and the effect are more evidentBootsToAsses wrote:I agree, the new mix sounds strange. There's something weird about Ed.
