A few years ago I wore a Pearl Jam shirt to work and some kid came up to me and was like "Great shirt, that's hilarious!"

Yes. It was the "Ed Pooping" shirt from 1993.

I think we can all agree that Rolling Stone completely dropped the ball by not using that picture for their 1996 trash piece cover story.

I have one I wear when I'm walking the dog. I try to avoid people when wearing it.

I have to wear a hat everywhere I go now, due to the Pearl Jam tattoo on my forehead and all.

Oh I have a Bonnaroo shirt too, but I'm more embarrassed that it has metallica on it.

The sooner they say it out loud, the sooner the healing can begin

This could apply to Dave A. I sense there has been a lot not said on that issue.

They've been saying it out loud for 10 years after which they switched to "people have been telling us it's their favourite album for 10 years so we figured we shouldn't be talking shit about it in public anymore".

Some people would never found anything said about that matter satisfying. It's been blown way out of proportion by fans imo.

Yeah, they really fell silent on that one.

Any regrets?

Jeff Ament: Probably moreso on the Vitalogy or No Code era, I wish I had more time with those songs. Those records, Ed would show us a song and play it twice and that’s sort of what would end up going out there. Luckily you get to play those songs live and there’s lots of pretty good versions of those songs live.

Stone Gossard: You can kind of fix your part live if it’s pretty subtle. There’s things you can do to be better for some of those old songs where somebody wouldn’t necessarily pick up on it.

and funny how so many people who's favourite records are the 2 above are vehemently convinced the problem with PJ is not enough influence of those same Ament and Gossard.
