1. Bronson (For my money, this opening is the greatest movie sequence I've ever seen. Ever.)

The rest (nothing overly thought out, just a bunch of openings I think are excellent):

Buffalo '66
Fanny and Alexander
The White Dove
The Matrix
The Ninth Gate
Port of Shadows
River of No Return
Scarecrow
Spring Breakers
Valhalla Rising
Touch of Evil
Drive
Medium Cool
The opening credits of Enter the Void
Fish Tank
Lonely are the Brave
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Walker

Probably a bunch more I'm not thinking of.

Hey LV, how did you feel about Cowboys v. Aliens? You liked it, right? How can you not like Daniel Craig?

...I hate that movie. It's certainly not Craig's fault, though.

Do you usually watch movies that you know are probably "bad"? Such as Battleship or Battle: L.A.? Can you enjoy them for their entertainment value, unlike some people on this board?

To be honest, I don't go into those kinds of action blockbusters expecting them to be bad or good. I will give them the same chance I give any other movie. I base my interest off things like what people are involved, what kind of aesthetic am I in for, etc. I don't separate movies into genre categories. I can hop from a Roland Emmerich disaster movie to a Robert Bresson drama without skipping a beat. They're all movies and they all have the same potential.

So, to answer your question, yes, I have seen Battleship.

LV, I'm somewhat of a Daniel Craig fan. Have you seen either Layer Cake or Archangel?

Cowboys Vs. Aliens had so much promise. And was so. so. so. bad.

I've seen LC. Dislike it. I think Craig's a compelling actor, though. I just wish he made better movies.
