Worked for me
'Man Of War' does not disappoint. There's a rumour that they re-did this for the latest Bond movie before recording Spectre. The strings were definitely done recently (same credits as Spectre and AMSP) and I'm pretty sure those are new vocals as well (maybe except the 'yeah yeah yeah' which is classic 90's Thom ).
'Lift' on the other hand sounds very unproduced, like a 'rough mix'. After 20 years they're still trying to sabotage this song

The unreleased stuff is great.
I've heard the How Am I Driving EP before but these sound way better. Then again, I pirated that in like 10th grade so it's probably some janky old 128k MP3s that I've had all this time until now.
Man of War is definitely the best unreleased until now tune though.

I think I read them say somewhere that they only managed to do a run-through in the studio before deciding to abandon it. And that's exactly what it sounds like. Having said that though, that's part of its charm for me. Plus it sounds exactly like the Pinkpop version, arrangement wise, so I'm not mad.
Also add me to the list of people that think Man of War absolutely slays.
haha I bet. it would be "frowned upon" at the office though

This is definitely a greatest hits show. But it's great nonetheless.

Apparently the person who reviewed the reissue for Record Collector had a chance to hear what was on the tape. And it's definitely making me wish I splurged and bought the deluxe version: http://recordcollectormag.com/reviews/o ... -1997-2017.

That does sound great. I'm sure it'll leak somewhere.

OK Computer 1997 was about people who give up on their dreams and settle in to a monotonous slowly drowning life, whereas the 2007 version is about my life.
