Fun fact - My first Qotsa show was the first show where Josh sang Song for the dead. I guess Lanegan fell off the wagon that day (Josh was not happy and said something pretty nasty about Lanegan that I can't remember) because he was at the show before mine. I saw them the next night as well and he was absent again. I was kinda bummed, but it was still awesome.

he was pretty fucked up at the time of that tour. I would have gone crazy to see them playing with Mark.

I wish he'd tour with them again. It really is a bummer that I missed my opportunity to see Qotsa w/Mark by one show :(

yeah, it would be great to see his band opening for QOTSA but who knows...seems Mark is not interested on going back...the same with the Mad Season proyect, he only did 3 songs and thats about it.

Good stuff.

Apparently the band opted to rent equipment for my semi-local gig and it seems that may have been the problem. The caterwauling that occurred was a real detractor, I feel the rigs just overpowered the room; solid set but yeah, I'd like to see them again.

God damn I love this song, it has easily jumped up into one of my all-time fav SG tunes and that's saying a lot. Definitely the gem of KA.

Has it aired yet? I'm hanging out to watch the whole thing.

Hoping to rip the audio as well, it sounds great - bonus live album!
