I would basically love the same record again with a different (good) producer. Instant 5-star status.

Yeah, something that captures how raw the guitars sound in that S/T EPK. Live, in the room shit. Basically, not BOB (or most producers working nowadays).

How about Jeff and some sound engineers?

I'm not a big Rick Rubin guy.
Ethan Johns?
This would never happen.

The new album will be produced by the ghost of Jerry Finn.

Not if the aim is to make the records sound better...

If we're going with ghosts named J(G)erry I'm going with Gerry Rafferty. Sweet sax sounds.

Jerry Yester. He's not dead, just senile.

I keep praying for a lack of commercial success. I think it's working.

I feel like the next album will be very different. I don't know why. Whether it's great or a train wreck I couldn't say.

if they're gonna play it safe, as they tend to do these days, and go with someone they've already worked with, our best hope is probably adam kasper. just don't master it so inappropriately and it'll be good. the new soundgarden record sounded pretty lush, after all.

Yeah, I feel as if the next one will either cement and confirm my fandom or make me considerably less interested. Some people are at that point already, it's taken me longer.

I hope Jeff writes the music for at least half of the next album
