I never had an issue with the effects. That being said, the production budget clearly went up when it switched networks.

Remembered this was coming, but didn’t realize it was so close—this is out on Tuesday! I probably won’t start a new book and give this a whirl.

I liked it a lot. The novella that came after it was good, too. Worth the read, hoping they keep it to a trilogy.

I tore through this one. Highly recommend for anyone who read The Expanse. Waiting two years (I assume) for the conclusion is going to be tough!

I think they typically stick to an annual cadence for their releases, no? They're pretty prolific in that sense.

Book 1 came out in August 2024, Book 2 in April 2026, so I think the earliest would be late 2027. 18 months doesn’t sound too bad! There was a novella between those, too, and I hope there’s more of those.

Got it -- I own both but haven't had a chance to crack book 1 yet so I'm a little disconnected from release windows.
