I really want to buy a telescope, but I'm afraid I won't be able to see anything due to light pollution.

I'm more of a fan of the moon. Telescopes freak me out.

Good ol' trusty moon. Always easy to see, and it compliments the sun real well.

Re: Our universe is so rad!
true story: i was lurking on another board and i found a user by the name of LittleWing. it was a message board in which e-denizens pool their mental resources to attempt to crack unsolved crimes, so i'm guessing, given the maniacal, blowhard tendencies of RM's LittleWing, it was the same guy, and not just another jimi hendrix fan.tommymctom wrote:I guess it will have to.Alex wrote:would a broken iris or a thodoks suffice?tommymctom wrote:i wish littlewing was here to see this.Alex wrote:it's a lawless hellscape in which the masses are starved, so i suppose a libertarian resort of some kindtommymctom wrote:what do you think is going to rise from the ashes of detroit?Alex wrote:are the torch fires of cannibalistic nomadic hordes roaming the dead, powerless city enough to give off light pollution?tommymctom wrote:sure, I'm near detroit.Alex wrote:what city are you in? are you near detroit? my next comment will be pretty funny if you're near detroit.tommymctom wrote:I really want to buy a telescope, but I'm afraid I won't be able to see anything due to light pollution.
