Just like with apples there are tons of different bananas, but only one kind is being sold wholesale worldwide. Weird. I would really like to taste the Gros Michel, which was the original banana to be sold worldwide, and with more taste.

We all do. However, I do get Thai Apple Bananas from an Asian specialty store here in Oslo.
