506Sports is going to have their coverage map for Week 1 up later today: http://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2015&wk=1

I've already checked my cable guide, and my 1:00 CBS game is going to be Jets-Browns :(

I think the more likely reality is Roger Goodell is a shitlord AND the entire league is filled with cheating, unethical behavioral, rule bending, drug abuse, off the field violence, etc. etc. The Patriots may or may not be at the top of the list of offenders, but it seems like a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

That shitlord, Goodell is responsible for that "NFL Shield" and if the Patriots are guilty of years of rule bending and cheating, the subsequent cover-up is just as bad...if not worse.

The whole thing has left me really uninterested in the upcoming season.

Honest answer from all the Brady haters here: If this was anyone other than Brady, would the reaction from the press, NFL, or public be as big as it was? Let's say for argument's sake it was Phillip Rivers or that ginger from Cincinnati. Do you think everyone would be in such an uproar? Please explain your answer.

I think it has more to do with the patriots and have a history, albeit mostly fabricated/perpetuated, of shady shit. And mostly, they are always awesome and as the american public wont to do - Love watching the great fall.

Also, fuck brady and his perfectly sculpted face and body.

Isn't that the point? It's like a girl with a short skirt has to be a slut. The Patriots always win, so they have to cheat. It is a perception based on nothing more than personal feelings.

Interview from Mike Shanahan

http://itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports/new ... l-signals/

Back then, everybody was trying to steal signals,” said Shanahan. “Some of the best quarterbacks in the league had different cue cards from the sideline — depending [on the] defense or blitz — and tried to do everything they could. They looked at [videotaping] for a lot of years, and came up with a final verdict. I could go back and tell you a hundred different stories. Shanahan said NFL teams — including the ones he coaches — frequently swept for listening devices, and not just when they were facing playing the Patriots in Foxboro.“We’d have people sweep the locker room for devices,” he said. “It was with a number of teams. The same thing on the sideline.

The Patriots get the additional attention because it is a perfect storm. The clean cut California quarterback (married to the Super model), the crotchety coach who is a bit of an ass, the billionaire owner who's suits are worth a monthly mortgage payment for the average american. If I was born and raised in NE, I would probably hate the Pats. haha

Also, fuck brady and his perfectly sculpted face and body.

I think if it was anyone else they would've been slapped on the wrist and it would've been forgotten about

How many TDs would a receiver have to catch to be considered for MVP? 30? I feel like the QB would steal it every time, but I'd be interested in seeing it happen.

He would have to have 20+ and Brady would have to throw less than 35, and even then they'd probably give it to Brady.
