Why were people getting my hopes up all week about an announcement for today? What evidence was there. I know it's coming, but why did we think it was coming today?
Where did this come from?CopperTom wrote:Because the public sale is supposed to be on 12/11.
Somebody had a shot of a marquee at the venue in Lexington, it said 12/11. It could have been pushed back, but assuming today would be the day for the announcement was very reasonable based on what we knew.wease wrote:Where did this come from?CopperTom wrote:Because the public sale is supposed to be on 12/11.
Plus it's been the rumored on sale date since October.mkay0 wrote:Somebody had a shot of a marquee at the venue in Lexington, it said 12/11. I find it difficult to believe this.Angus wrote:From what I'm told: EU tour is not happening, was all booked but band pulled out after Paris attacks.
I live in Charlotte and have been to all 3 venues. I recommend Charlotte first because it is a nice venue and its proximity to bars if you want to pregame before the show. Charlotte and Raleigh are definitely the nicer of the 3 cities. I'll probably hit 2 of the 3 regardless. I'm also considering Lexington because they'll also have horse racing at Keeneland in April.tragabigzanda wrote:That is an A+ tip that makes my time here today worth while.E.H. I don't think it's a "growing contingent."Coach wrote:First, big thanks to CopperTom for the reply. But, yeah, I'm one of a growing contingent of Boston fans who would like to see Fenway go and be replaced with a modern ballpark in the city. That said, count me in for this show. 'Cause, Pearl Jam.
Neither one.The Argonaut wrote:I would feel so much better if the rumor did not say Albany OR Hartford. I want to know which one.
I don't know, man, ever talk to anyone who has to sit in right field or someone over 6-feet-tall? It's not a large contingent, but I believe it has grown over the years.numbers wrote:I don't think it's a "growing contingent."Coach wrote:First, big thanks to CopperTom for the reply. Well, Pittsburgh, Albany / Hartford appeared to have bit the dust.Bammer wrote:So this rumored South/East US tour itinerary...
Is there any legit chatter out there about it being one leg of a larger overall tour? I'd live to see some West coast mixed in...
