It really does. It's nice though. It's funny, when I was pasting up the OP and thinking about our first draft, I remember that the idea of a two-hour clock and suspending it overnight was pretty revolutionary for RM drafts at the time, what with all of the ones before it going with nine-twelve hour clocks.

No, you won't be skipped, but common protocol is to send a proxy set of picks to someone while you're gone. There's no requirement to, though.
