I hate this type of music so goddamn much so I hate it and I wont appreciate it for its unabashed pop sensibilities. I can understand your disdain for the garish elements, but I do love the instrumentation in the contrasting chorus -- to me it has a brooding element similar to the beat in Kendrick's "Blacker the Berry".
