This might be my all time favorite "guilty pleasure", though I don't feel guilty at all. Crash Test Dummies - Live. These guys are fucking great pop rock song writers and this whole performance is super good. Definitely worth the watch and I'd love too see that some of you gave it a chance.

This album is fucking GREAT.
I agree, but I'm guessing that it would get a bunch of snarky criticism from the skinny jeans crowd.
Ha! Fuck 'em.

I like a few Katy Perry songs too (I have 11 & 10 year old daughters), and GNR's best work is the Use Your Illusion albums.

Same. I prefer huge, lushly orchestrated, melodramatic GnR over hard-rawk GnR.

My last run through GnR was about 1 year ago and UYIs didn't fare well for me.

90% of my listening pleasure comes from guilty pleasures. I'm rocking Eddie Money right now.

I tried and failed gloriously with a Crash Test Dummies thread. But go for it, best of luck,

The instrumentation on Two Tickets to Paradise is sublime.

Okay, well, Third Eye Blind's first two albums (S/T and Blue) are absolute pop/rock gems with hooks galore, surprising turns of phrase, anthems and smart songwriting. Stephen Jenkins had the muse from 97-99, my friends.

Losing a Whole Year
Narcolepsy
I Want You
The Background
1000 Julys
An Ode to Maybe
Camouflage
Farther
