Im not a fan of the person, but the album is really good

the new album is really good. it's unfair to compare it to NFR, but it's what we do. it's not as grand or stately in that respect, but it hits a sweet spot.

white dress could be her best song.

I just listened to both NFR and this back to back and I think this new one is better. Again, we need to live with it for a while. But the songwriting on this new record is fantastic. And while I appreciate the commentary of NFR, it really feels like this one is sharper and more venomous.

I fucking love it.

I've long called Ultraviolence her best record (even after living with NFR for a year-ish). But I really think this is my favorite. I need to slow my roll and see how I feel six months, a year, from now. I know that. But as of today? ...

I can't relate.

The first half of this album is stellar. Lots of memorable hooks and ear worms.
