I'm half worried that in the next 2-3 days I'll go to answer the doorbell, and when I open it Ed is just gonna yell "LIGHTNING BOLT!" kick me in the nuts, and then run off laughing as he jumps into a Camaro being driven by Tim Bierman and blaring Getaway. And I'll never actually get my copy of the record.

Does anyone else harbor this fear?

What songs are you guys most excited to hear? From some of the reviews I've read, Getaway and My Father's Son are the two I'm most curious about. I've held off on Sirens too (despite catching the opening lines on the radio a few times) so that one is a big question mark for me... for better or worse.

i'm pretty excited to hear everything, but the most intriguing for me is My Father's Son, and maybe Infallible.
but i'm definitely looking forward to it... this weekend will be busy enough for me (pearl jam concert saturday, then 2 thanksgiving dinners) that it won't be an issue waiting until tuesday to listen to it

From the little bit I've read or heard i think Im most excited for the 2 bass guitars on MFS but then after that Im most looking forward to the ones that were expected to be bad, LTRP, SBM and FD, just because if i enjoy those then Im thinking this album will be great

I've read a lot of reviews here on the board, and I'm really excited to hear the entire thing. So many songs are so divisive. Infallible, Yellow Moon, etc etc. I'm really pumped about Getaway, MFS, and Pendulum for sure though.

The vinyl looks amazing. I love the cut out of the middle.

it really does. And from the picture, I love the non-glossy paper that the cover made out of. Has that 60s/70s feel to it. The big red area almost feels like it was colored in with a marker. Hope it really looks like that

I did a blind 'ranking' of how I THINK I'll like the songs. But I can't for the life of me remember where I put it...
