Any father would do the same.

Now let's get those J6 protesters pardoned and we'll be all set.

It's a lot.

Politico: We haven’t seen a pardon as sweeping as Hunter Biden’s in generations
So rather than merely pardoning his son for the gun crimes for which he was convicted and the tax crimes for which he pleaded guilty, the president’s pardon covers all “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in” from Jan. 1, 2014, through Dec. 1, 2024. That language mirrors the language in Ford’s pardon of Nixon, which did not merely cover the Watergate scandal but extended to “all offenses against the United States” that Nixon “has committed or may have committed” between Jan. 20, 1969, and Aug. 9, 1974 — the exact span of Nixon’s presidency.
Hunter's pardon is broader than Nixon's.

if you're mad that biden pardoned his son but think what 45 did was justice to pardon his son-in-laws father and the appoint him ambassador to france then your moral outrage is null and void

Plus Trump will pardon all of the January 6 rioters as soon as he takes office.

But I agree with Jorge, there shouldn't be presidential pardons.

Yeah I take my statement back. If I ever get wrongfully imprisoned, I want that option. Keep presidential pardons please.

Yeah I'd rather watch guilty people go free than watch innocent people stay in jail because they were at the mercy of nine morons or a corrupt judge.

On the one hand, the justice system is entirely broken and regularly harms the innocent. On the other hand, people with extreme wealth or political connections have a way out. The American dream lives on.
