Haha, I see what you did there....maybe so, Brady never cared for the NFC East. bad play, shit luck, etc. When you fly so high and close to the sun you are bound to get burned a few times.

It's that experience - losing to a team like Philly - that makes me want to pick them. Chiefs are the high flying AFC point burners vs. a tough ass, blue collar team from the NFC East.

Eagles by 3.

They are all bound to lose some weight in the Super Bowl, so they are all ahead of the game in my book.

I'm leaning Eagles by a field goal, but I also wonder how they will fare if they get down early. It's not like they've had any sort of resistance in the past month.

No they haven't but for the season 'down early' was oddly common. The turn-around in this team over the last two years is still tremendous as a fan and goddamn I love that D.

I also love D and I texted the Definitely Maybe album cover to a friend earlier today

Mahomes has never won a road playoff game and is 1-1 in the SB.
Given that the Chiefs are always a high seed, it's understandable that he hasn't had that many cracks on the road. Still, that Arrowhead home field advantage is maybe the best in sports so how things go in Arizona is anyone's guess.

Looks like the line remains Philly as a 1.5 pt favorite. Over/under is 50.

"Has never won a road playoff game."

Um, has never PLAYED a road playoff game.

I did not know that.

The Super Bowl that he lost in Tampa is his only "away" loss in the post season. And he still played out of his mind with a broken toe. He was also down 5 starting offensive lineman and none of his receivers could catch a pass.

He made two of the best throws I've ever seen in my life and neither were completed.

It was equally amazing and infuriating as a KC fan.

Yeah the point I was making about not winning a road playoff game rings kind of hollow now. I guess the "neutral" site games is the more interesting angle, especially if the Eagles fly on Sunday.

If the Chiefs win this weekend, Pats fans will continue to grasp at anything they can in the inevitable Brady/Mahomes "GOAT of the modern era" debate.

I really don't think there's much of a debate there. Maybe ask a Bucs fan, too?

If we're talking about the crop of QBs who are new to the NFL within the last five years, then Mahomes is definitely the best.

What's the modern era? Mahomes, Jackson, Herbert, Allen, Burrow, Lawrence, and Hurts?

I'm sure I'm leaving someone out, but that's the modern era that comes to mind.

Brady is a whole other tier, fellas.
