Just went to Sam Goody to pick up the two disc version of the re-issue. Of course, they didn't have it and knew nothing about it.

I dig the "studio outtakes," esp face pollution

Wow, Sam Goody...
It's usually the only game in town as far as getting music that I want to get. The used CD store here in town never gets anything, but they can order it for you. And of course there's shit Walmart.

I thought Sam Goody went out of business ten years ago.

There's an FYE that used to be in the mall here but went out of business a couple years ago. They reopened a new FYE in a different location in August. No idea who shops there since it's basically a more kitschy Hot Topic with music.

got the 2-CD in the mail today and the packaging is kind of cheap ... it ripped already ... not that i care about that but you know this is the internet and you're supposed to complain about stuff like that when it happens

will comment on the music after a few hundred more listens; the first listen is always deceiving

Studio outakes are blergh. Cornell sounds like ass.

The live cuts are blergh. Cornell sounds like ass.

Remaster is decent but it's still Badmotorfinger so it still sounds like ass.

i loved the outtakes and the live album.
Its a pretty awesome performance and a really good frame of that moment of the band, and from the outtakes is really cool to have birth ritual and Blind Dogs...specially this one, sounds so badass.

Agree re the meh remastered original and a shame too given how intense this album still is to this day. That said, the remixed version that comes on blu ray actually sounds promising on my shitty TV speakers. I would love to be able to rip audio files that. Looks like Adam Kasper did the remix....

The Blind Dogs outtake is money. I didn't know it dated back to this album.

Listened to the remastered album this morning. Man it's such a good album but those drums are so boxy.
