there was like 7 minutes left in the game and the vikings had just whiffed on another third down. they're down 11, at their 32 yard line, it's 4th and 3, and any reasonable person watching knows that any hope the vikings have to try and win the game means going for it here because their defense ain't going to stop shit at this point. all of the sudden buck or aikman points out that cousins was coming off the field as though they were going to punt, but the sideline had to turn him around to go back out for a play. unfortunately this wasn't actually shown, only the announcers mentioned it, and i haven't really seen this pointed out in any postgame coverage i've seen. MAYBE he thought they had just played fourth down, MAYBE there was some miscommunication or something, but that seems highly unlikely. basically, they indirectly pointed out that cousins had either quit or wasn't mentally in the game to know what needed to be done right there. both of those options are inexcusable. show some fucking emotion and fight to make another play.96583UP wrote:Cousins has a thin d1ckStrat wrote:I dont want to watch the Vikings next year. i still think cousins was the right move for the vikings at the time, and certainly their season of disappointment doesn't lie at his feet, there's plenty of blame to go around everywhere. but that one observation by buck/aikman really showed just how thin a dick cousins had in crunch time, as if his 4-25 or whatever record against +.500 teams didn't illustrate that enough. the vikings organization should be worried about the next two years they have to live with him if this is what type of leadership he's going to give you.
