This is the worst argument ever.
What are your thoughts on David Ortiz?
I'm not arguring. I know he has no clue on acceptable and professional behavior. It's tough to argue otherwise.
So, as I was suggesting earlier, that argument extends to David Ortiz, right? Because Ortiz is a well-respected veteran, and he's also the king of standing at the plate admiring his home runs.

I'd probably enjoy watching someone punch David Ortiz in the face.

Guys, who gives a fuck about admiring home runs? Players that get pissed off about it need to get the fuck over it. IF you stand there and admire your home run, one of two things happens: It leaves the park and you got to enjoy watching it, or you overestimated it's flight path and now your double is only a single or worse yet maybe an out. The Brian McCann's of the world need to stop being self righteous douchebags.

exactly, and they claim theyre being old school?
fuck if they are, the old school way, was to DRILL THE NEXT GUY UP.
Dont get me wrong, Gomez is way to big of a hot dog, and im not saying he did no wrong, but starting a brawl over a bat flip triple?
1 guy admired a long fly ball and flipped his bat
the other team started a freaking brawl? whats really better for the game at that point? LOL

I want to see him run in the Sausage Race at Miller Park, and then eat the five other guys while they're still in costume.

he probably HAS run the race?
true story, Hideo Nomo ran in it when he was with the Tigers I believe? and was at the finish line before the other sausages were even behind home plate

The only baseball video I want to see is Carl Everett kicking the catcher in the chest before charging the mound. But MLB has hidden that one pretty well.

Which one of the Sausage Costumes do you think was most modeled after Stormin' Gorman?

In my days, we charged the mound with respectful dropkicks to the gut, none of this punching and grabbing crap.

Red Sox prospect Izzy Alcantara once did that in a minor league game, too.

why do pitchers get so upset on bat flips after home runs...
but not walks? LOL
whomever just led off for the Rangers flipped it pretty good on a lead off walk which pissed me off, as I have Sonny Gray starting today for the A's
