Well I don't watch wrestling anymore but I'm an Arrow fan. I see he kicked some butt in an event?

i, too, didn't mind it. what i especially liked was how well the commentary team, namely jbl, set up the finish. as soon as lesnar had his shoulders down while applying the kimura jbl was pointing it out, making sure we as viewers knew. so when lil' naitch actually goes over to that side to make a count we are fully aware of why he is doing that while getting out of position to see the tap. the camera work could have been better so we could see taker tapping as the bell rang (instead of having to wait for the replay and wonder for 30 seconds or whatever if we were seeing another screwjob-type finish). so, for the most part i thought it was executed extremely well, from the commentary to heyman's reactionary promo.

probably one of the better celebrity wrestlers there has been. he didn't do a whole lot, but what he did looked good and he got the crowd behind him when he jumped from the top of the ring onto a couple guys on the floor. he looked nervous as shit the entire time, though.

pretty damn good show last night, i really wasnt expecting it to be much because the card just seemed so boring, but the tag match was outstanding, and i LOVE new day, especially their celebration after the match. the Cena/Rollins match was quite good even though there were a ton of noticeably missed spots, hated the ending though. Brock/Taker was about as good as it could be. Owens and Cesaro was great like i expected, and even the Show/Miz/Ryback match was decent with the Comedy from Miz( how many times did he go back and forth trying to pin Ryback and Show  ) . If Arrow can learn to sell then i think he would be a pretty decent wrestler if he wanted to, i would imagine they will try to do something else with him since Cody didnt get pinned by him or vise versa, but we will see.

The championship and main event were both awesome until their respective finishes. Out of my seat for a lot of the Brock/Taker stuff, and Rollins is astoundingly good.

I was underwhelmed by Owens/Cesaro. The rest was a mix of solid to meh. I watched the entire divas match hoping this #divasrevolution thing would kick in. Nah. They need to stop with the lame tag matches and have a one on one match, NXT style.

Did he wrestle as The Arrow or as Stephen Amell?

The divas revolution doesn't work as long as people like the Bella's, Tamina, and Naomi are getting ring time. It doesn't matter how good Paige and the NXT girls are if that's what they have to work with.

I recently watched some of Paige's NXT matches, and it's kind of shocking how much her skills have regressed since going up to the main roster.

I was telling my wife the same thing. She fell asleep before the NXT main events on Saturday, but I found myself describing it to her the next day like some of the great matches of yesteryear. It was a well-told story with some solid performances, great main event stuff. But when they do these giant tag matches with 8-10 women, there's no chance for anyone to shine and it just becomes chaos (and, inevitably, there are 5 women in a pile on the outside). It's all just noise.

Has Michael Cole been ill? My wife pointed out last night that the left side of his face is sagging. At first I joked that he was doing JR cosplay, but then I saw it and it wasn't funny anymore.

Pretty decent PPV. Better than I thought it would be.

I figured the Brock/Taker match would end with the possibility of a 3rd match. The finish was fine. I thought the match itself was good. When they both sat up I marked out a little I won't lie. Obviously we will see a round 3. Which makes sense because that feud will print money. They also had to find a way to do heel like things with Brock. Which they did. Not sure if I wanna see the third match at Mania but we will see. Can't think of a way better option. Hell in a Cell is in LA in October? Hmmmm.

Rollins is fucking incredible. He looked like HBK in there last night. Just worked his ass off. Lots of people are pissed about his title reign. I think it has been pretty good. He is a chicken shit heel so of course he is going to do things to win matches like this. I would have rather seen Flair come out and hit Cena with a chair since Cena is close to catching him. But Jon Stewart? Yikes.

Becky Lynch is so fucking adorable.

Owens/Cesaro was excellent.

Sting v Rollins, didn't see that one coming. Should be interesting to see what kind of match hey can put together.

The tag division desperately needed the infusion of the Dudleys.

I realize that the 6 woman tag wasn't the most entertaining thing ever, but the crowd shitting all over it was downright disrespectful. I also feel like Vince or whoever is booking this thing to fail.

I bet Rollins carries him to a solid match.

Happy to have those damn Dudleys back!

Agreed. I could see Sting winning it and dropping it at the next PPV or even winning it and Sheamus cashing in even if it's the next night on Raw.

Alright guys, ric flair always keeps me interested and apparently his record may be tied/broke soon with CEna.

Now, seriously tell me straight up, what do these titles mean? I stopped paying attention to wrestling long ago. Wrestling is, for the most part - fake/pre determined. No?

has something changed? Why does this matter. What the fuck. What day is this?

I think it's Tuesday?

It's a kayfabe (scripted) record. I really don't care if Cena breaks the record. It's the company's own fault for putting the title on Cena SOOOOO much.

I am not a Cena hater. I'm far from a fan as well. That being said he is a pretty damn good pro wrestler. Stale gimmick? of course. But the guy is an underrated wrestler and proves time and time again with the right guy(s) he can put on a great match.

Despite all of those kind words about Cena....he could not carry Flair's jock.

But its all scripted so what am i missing here? It is set who will win the match every time, yes?

The redneck wrestler is no fun. What happened to ridiculous personas?

It's pre determined yes. Sometimes it's not months and months in advance. Sometimes it is. I think now days it's not as planned out in advance. If I had to guess I'd say Vince is not sure who will be champ next at this point. That is just this dude's opinion.

I kinda miss the colorful characters as well.
