It's fucking terrible and its cult status is undeserved. Skip it and watch the original movie: The Wages of Fear, which is a masterpiece.tragabigzanda wrote:Anybody ever see the 1977 movie Sorcerer? Never heard of it until today, looks pretty interesting.

I fucking hate reserved seating. Every goddamn showing of everything is sold out lately. This was never a problem before. Fuck everything.

Re: Post Random Movie-Related Thoughts You Have
Latin America has had reserved seating for years. Maybe a decade. I think it's great-- I like being able to pick where I'm sitting, and not worrying about getting in line early to pick a good one. Not sure why it would result in everything being sold out, except maybe due to the novelty of it. That's not the case down here.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I fucking hate reserved seating. Movie theaters, and the movie-going experience in general, are a lot nicer down here than in the US, I think. Wider seats, better distribution, nicer digs, good service. In my experience, anyway.

Re: Post Random Movie-Related Thoughts You Have
We're just starting to get reserved seating and I hate going to the movies without it. I'd rather have another beer at the place next door than worry about getting to my seat as soon as the theater doors open so I don't end up in the front row.

Yeah, I like it. I only saw it for the first time less than a year ago, and it's still not in any theaters in the small city I live in. I don't see why reserved seating would cause sold-out shows, though. It might boost crowds a little if people like it. Maybe it's just the difference between CO and IL

I tend to arrive early, so getting a good seat was never a problem. But when everyone chooses seats in advance, that goes out the window and it's much harder to get a good spot when it's busy. The Argonaut wrote:Yeah, I like it.
