Will popular opinion of some of Pearl Jam's music ever change? Will No Code, Binaural, and Riot Act ever be widely recognized for the masterpieces that they truly are? Will there ever be a time that Ten doesn't dominate Pearl Jam album rankings?

I think that's starting to happen a little bit (certainly, at least, with No Code and Yield). A lot of the ten-year anniversaries of those records seemed to have people rethinking them, or at least new critical voices entering the conversation. But will they ever eclipse Ten? No, I don't think so, the album is just too massive and has already cemented its place. As far as their studio work goes, Pearl Jam I think will be remembered for Ten and for other individual songs of theirs that were very popular. I think the main way they're going to be remembered is for their legacy as a live act.

Why are you asking me all of this?

Pearl Jam's career seems similar to Adam Sandler's. Critics didn't like them when they first started out but they eventually came around, albeit begrudgingly. Then, after a few middle years of exploration and creativity(Punch Drunk Love), they got lazy as middle age people do. Or just lost motivation/ changed life priorities etc.

Okay, how about Rick Schroeder. Was the pretty boy and then, stunningly, takes a big role on the grittiest tv drama of its time(NYPD Blue). Even the critics had to admit he at least had range(No Code).

It was part of the Eat, Pray, Love soundtrack in 2010(?). It's totally fine. I don't hate it but it's not a song I return to much.
