Fellowship of the ring
This series is the last true epic isn’t it? There won’t be any more like this.
Until this is remade. Which is inevitable at some point.

Secret Life of Pets 2. Better than it should have been by all rights. The Minion short on the disc was just gorgeous, and I can only imagine it was a tech demo for something coming up.

LotR was widely regarded as the most influential, if not the best, fantasy novel/series of all time before the trilogy was announced. The series had sold around 40-50 million copies by the time the first movie debuted.

I finally saw the doc about the Massillon Ohio football team.
Meh.
It was like watching a third-rate film version of the Friday Night Lights book.

Anabelle Comes Home.
Definitely the worst of the three, but still damn fun. And the art direction and camera work is top notch. I wonder whats going to happen with this franchise now they arrived to the end of the story.
