Took my 16-year-old to see The Shawshank Redemption in the theater last night. It’s showing this week for the 25th anniversary. He hasn’t t seen it yet so it was pretty special to share that with him. We both had to wipe our eyes during Brooks’ final scene. Such a beautifully written story and an all-time classic.

I only noticed it yesterday, so I'm not 100% sure. But I think it's fair to assume it's because of our exchange back in July. Makes sense. He was pretty mad at me.
