On that skateboarding podcast (recorded very recently I have to assume) Jeff comments that the band is, right this moment, more wildly successful than it’s ever been. It will continue rolling for at least 10 more years if they all stay alive. 2 more albums minimum.

That they spent a few years building their own studio seems like a vote of confidence in the future of the band, especially as they seem very happy with how Gigaton turned out.

I don’t get the hate for SBWM and Retrograde

Love this album everyday I wake up with a different song in my head. Yesterday was “Take The Long Way” and today it was “Seven O’clock”.

This album is very satisfying. And to think some fans “gave up on satisfaction”

hey guess what, 7 O'Clock has a drum lead-in intro too! there's just a little feedback under it

I need to finish that Jeff´s podcast.

This album works so well as a cohesive group of songs. When I start at the beginning, I never want to skip a song, I’m always looking forward to the next track without ever being bored or unsatisfied with the moment I’m at. I know it’s been beaten to death, but the sound and production of Gigaton is the best of any Pearl Jam album. The song writing is back to an expert level, and the actual performances of the songs are absolutely moving and fantastic. You will all come to see someday that this album is the most consistently impressive album they’ve ever released.

Current Ranking - Every song is 4 Stars or better. 5 Stars through River Cross. Retrograde, Never Destination, and Superblood Wolfmoon are probably all 4.5. Buckle up and Alright are at least 4 Stars. This album is everything.
