My son read Ubik for school and it's made me want to dive into the PKD movies and so I got that from the library. Going to start old school though and work forward. Maybe give one or two of the adaptations a miss though.AndySlash wrote:watched a scanner darkly for the first time in yeeears. i forgot how much i loved this scene:

Zombieland 2. Humor is different. Too corny. Meh. Pretty typical comedy sequel. Good time waster if you're bored.

I’ve been rewatching the Bond movies from the beginning.
The 70’s were a weird time for the franchise.

"not as good as 2 or 3" that makes it seem like you maybe hate the original?tragabigzanda wrote:Toy Story 4. Not as good as 2 or 3 but still pretty good. The Key and Peele characters were funny but one of them felt an obvious ploy to steal some thunder from the Secret Life Of Pets rabbit.

Yet you remember 2 and 3 well enough to rate it against 4?tragabigzanda wrote:Honestly I don’t remember it too wellStrat wrote:"not as good as 2 or 3" that makes it seem like you maybe hate the original?tragabigzanda wrote:Toy Story 4. I think the third one was my favorite. I liked the first one too. I didn't like 2.VinylGuy wrote:I love both of them. The second was better yeah...and this one is really good. Its a very cool franchise.oasisfan35 wrote:Really? The first Annabelle was unredeemable.VinylGuy wrote:Anabelle Comes Home.
Definitely the worst of the three, but still damn fun. And the art direction and camera work is top notch. I wonder whats going to happen with this franchise now they arrived to the end of the story.

I really dug the cast/characters and that there were multiple bads. I also liked that the ghosts couldn't kill you. They had to possess you to really hurt someone or convince you to do something horrible to yourself like in the first movie. They broke that rule in the 2nd one.
