Nobody yet knows where it comes from. But the only people with no angle to gain from this story are Warren and Biden. And six months ago, there was a story full of similarly anonymous leakers claiming OTHER candidates were ramping up oppo efforts against Pete that turned out...to have been put out there by Pete.

Are people really going to allow this hit piece to be taken seriously?

Pete’s probably got a great rolodex of dirty laundry consultants

After her comically inappropriate DNA test, I do not expect Warren to be using game theory to ensure that she makes only rational, self-interested choices

Warren could gain from Bernie supporters defecting because of the alleged sexism of someone pointing out that sexism exists

Really look at his history. He's never held the type of job working American's do. From school to floating around, living off of working women, to leftist crusader politician.

Working Americans seem to prefer Biden & Bernie (and Trump) over the rest, so... Mayor to Congressman to Senator (as an independent, no less) over 40 years seems to show his constituents approve of the job he's done.
So I would send this back to you, to honestly ask yourself what matters here. Having an inspiring message or being able to enact practical, positive (though gradual) change?
Step one is winning. Inspiring people is how you win. This notion that a candidate might not be able to deliver all his/her promises applies to every single one of these people. It's a platform. Do people really think Mayor Pete or anyone else will walk into the negotiating room and get their plans passed as they are because they're a little more moderate than Bernie's plan? No way. If Dems want a plan that ends up toward the middle they must fight for the true left position. They need to stop this habit of starting with what they see as a compromise, only to have to negotiate away important parts of the agenda. All of these candidates will see their plans move to the right once they hammer it out with the GOP. Where you begin matters.

You’ll notice nobody in either camp, nor any other progressive, seems to think it’s worth the breath it takes to discuss this possibility. It’s almost like it’s not a thing that happens.

sigh seems familiar other sigh
A text message that referred to Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas” that was sent through rival Bernie Sanders’ volunteer messaging system led to social media feuding and confusion among supporters of both candidates.

It turns out the text message came from a rogue Sanders campaign volunteer believed to be a supporter of President Donald Trump, the campaign told The Associated Press. The individual was removed from the system

a great stress-test for the vetting process given that the next president will likely have to contend with deep-fakes in a much more significant way than the current talking-about-how-deepfakes-could-someday-be-a-problem status
