Pete Vuckovich wouldn't have let a bat flip get him off his game.

the correct answer would have been "unless the bat flipper happened to be a power hitting first baseman named Haywood for the NY Yankees"

Haywood of course from the movie Major League, played by... one Pete Vuckovich :D

"But what if I put it on my neck this time? There's no way they can possibly notice it there!"

I liked when the umpire asked to see Pineda's neck, and he turned around and showed him the other side of his neck.

Edit: I'm a Yanks fan. I grew up right on that "Munson-Nixon" line in CT. The Mets also factored in that location too.

are you Toronto?

Its too bad they didn't include the Great Lakes corridor Canada in this. It would've been interesting to see if there were border lines there too - or would they just favor the Canadian team?

Living in Detroit, im pretty sure Windsor proper is pretty heavily Tigers fans, but immediately outside of that it becomes strictly Toronto fans.

I think a lot of the areas close to the border have some kind of allegiance to teams that are closer (Seattle, Minnesota, Boston, Detroit) but Canada would be almost entirely Blue Jays. Jays games in Seattle are awesome because the stadium becomes 50% Jays fans from western Canada.

I remember when the sox used to play in Montreal there would be a ton of boston fans there, but that might have just been people from northern New England.
