That's why it's so hard for me to just bench him. Monetarily speaking, Thomas is one of the most valuable players of his era on whatif, and is far and away my most valuable position player. Plus, even though Zeke Bonura hit well for average in real life, he had no real power. Allen is a power hitter, but he's even worse than Thomas. If I bench The Big Hurt for Bonura, that leaves Belle as the only real constant home run threat in my lineup.

So I had been using google spreadsheets for stuff and opened chuds template to set up my teams in excel.

And I just found out that my excel is a trial that I have to buy to continue with :/

Can you download Open Office and just copy & paste all of the input data from one to the other?

The regular season will be 2/3 done after tomorrow. We're hitting that stretch run.

Should we implement testing for performance enhancers next season?

72 home runs for the Cubs. 25 for the White Sox. The history of how Chicago's baseball teams were built in a nutshell. Hitter's wet dream on the north side, pitcher's wet dream on the south side (well, from 1901-1990 at least, before the move to the Cell).

Are you telling us something about how Honus is managing to be hitting like .592 right now?

I don't pay close attention to stats when I'm running sims, but I think there was someone who is hitting out of his mind this half so far. I thought it was Honus Wagner, but I could be wrong. I remember thinking it seemed like some old player was going 4-5 every single game.

Looking back, it's definitely not Wagner. I have no idea who it is. Or whether or not my impression is even accurate.

I was thinking of Lou Boudreau, but he's "only" hitting around .437 or so since the break. That 5-6 game he had is what caught my eye.
