What I want the album to be:
Title-Cryptic
6-experimental tracks with layered vocals, crazy effects and long instrumental breaks
4-haunting folk songs with dark lyrics and long instrumental breaks
1- dark moody instrumental jam with no lyrics
I would be thrilled if they went for their version of a late-period Pink Floyd record. But that's not gonna happen.
They really should tho, Eds voice isn't built for speed anymore. If they don't do this then I want a funk/metal fusion album...."I Need Something Different" Gossard

I don't know what to make of this turn of events.

That would be a hell of a lot better, for sure, but I imagine their idea of "late period Floyd" is closer to "Sirens" than "NAIS."

Hilarious. All of this. It's like Make Pearl Jam Great Again. Let's make a "difficult" album, labored, layered that says "ooh we put alot of thought into this". Oh, let's also make it a double-album! Lots of hidden tracks too!

That's not what I want, Tuolumne -- I want an album of straight ahead rock with some nice crispy production and maybe some nice mellow chillax ballads that I can wave my cellphone flashlight to next time they hit up Wrigley. Hopefully some hot and tasty Mike licks too. You with me on that one, brotha?

What?! Are you serious?!
I am 99.9% certain. The only reason im not 100% is that i can't believe they actually would do that and maybe i am just a moron.
