No question. So thrilled to have him associated with the band. The way he discusses music is so refreshing. The journey of each song, the overall arc of the album, the attention he pays to how the energy flows within a piece of music. And it's all discussed in terms which are in service to the creative process & to the song as a whole.

Did you record this?

If there is a thread on this, I can't find it.
Pearl Jam may not have been able to tour in support of their new LP Gigaton, but fans will have a novel way to experience the music on Friday when they release the Gigaton Visual Experience to anyone with Apple TV or the Apple TV app.
According to a press release, it will “bring the album alive through immersive audio and ultra-vivid picture quality.” (In other words, it’s an album-length music video in 4K picture.) It will be be free for seven days before being available to purchase or rent.
“I’m excited for fans to be able to immerse themselves in the sound and to hear the depth and layers of these songs and performances” Gigaton producer Josh Evans said in a statement. “It’s truly a unique way to experience this album.”
The band originally planned on rolling out the Gigaton Visual Experience in movie theaters when the album arrived, but that was not possible after the coronavirus hit. Releasing it online is one of many last-minute changes they’ve had to make recently, including the indefinite postponement of their special SirusXM show at New York’s Apollo Theater and their North American arena tour. They were one of the first major bands to postpone an entire tour due to the coronavirus.

Watching the Apple TV “Gigaton” special.
It looks like it’s just the visualisers.
Ed is a lot higher in the mix. SBWM visualiser is the Animated film clip. DOTC appears to be Mach 2.
I’ll see if Take The Long Way has any bass.
The mix with Ed’s vocals more prominent makes the ending of retrograde immense.

I found this now as well. Thank you. Going to listen while working, with a few glances at the screen here and there.

Can't hear anything different in the mix, isn't Ed always this loud? I do wish the instruments were mixed just a little higher overall.

Is this going to be like the fabled 'Spotify mix' of Avocado which this forum convinced itself was uploaded by accident, hastily removed and replaced by the Brendan O'Brien remix? The 'Spotify mix' being exactly the same as the original 2006 album...

Yea eds voice is definitely more front and center but if this was meant to be listened to it atmos surround.....surround sound....we're probably not getting the full etent with just a stereo speaker setup. yea?

It says that Pearl Jam presents the album in Dolby Atmos-sound and Dolby Vision HDR-video. So I believe this is what the band intended to show in the cinemas.

Perhaps not. My headphones are good, but I am also listening through iphone and bluetooth.
Nothing wrong with the sound in my ears. Sounded like Gigaton.

The visuals are stunning. What i should do is put the record on and time it with starting the video.
Or get me a full surround sound system for this.
Guitars aren't as prominent. Eds voice is clearly ahead of it all.

Its interesting though as you can really hear eds vocal layers and harmonies.

seems a little pointless without actual surround sound it was meant to be presented in.

At least it's an easy way to watch the entire album in one go, instead of one and one video on youtube.
