That’s a valid point, but I think if I didn’t have the love of mystery dramas to pull on, I would like the movie a lot less.

Oh, that's interesting. I wonder if you found the movie a lot funnier/sillier than I did. Perhaps that's the big difference? It's certainly a funny movie but I thought the humor really worked.

I felt it was 100% a comedy. The theatre I was at was 2/3rds full, and oddly to me, there were often people laughing loudly.

That's funny because I think Grand Budapest is my favorite of his works.

Art is awesome. I just love how it can affect different people in such different ways. Was there something specific about Knives Out that reminded you of Grand Budapest?

Nice. I hope you like it. I thought it was brilliant.

But I have noticed that within my own friend group that how much one likes it directly relates to what kind of movie they think it is going into it. It's been really interesting to see the various reactions.

That’s always interesting. I can’t wait to hear what my friends think of TROS, and if I will agree with them or not, although we should all know what kindof movie that is.
