I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Which could be said about 95% of comics. Many of whom will readily admit it!

Burton has rubbed me the wrong way for a while now but I have enjoyed the season (3 eps) so far. Agree that Ortega owns the role.

Truly awful. One of the dumbest more obvious movies I saw. And it think itself so highly it makes everything looks even worse.
Worst part is that’s also boring.

I switched Glass Onion off after about 45 mins. It was just deeply annoying.
What's the last decent movie Ed Norton was in? I can't tell if he chooses shitty movies or if he just sucks now.

Fred Armisen is a fellow Mississippi boy and was born in the same hospital as me.

saw two eps of Wednesday and got so bored. Its a clear mix between Sabrina and some Potter stuff. Ortega is great as always but i cant imagine something more impersonal than this series, which is a shame because a long time ago, Burton used to be so fucking personal with his projects.
The guy lost it.

I thought Glass Onion was perfectly fine. Even, dare I say, "fun"?

I'm still considering it. Might even upgrade it to "a blast".

I enjoyed Wednesday. It was, yes, quite a bit CW-y. But I had fun watching it the week I was sick earlier this month. I watched Harrison Ford in Air Force One, Schwarzenegger in Eraser, and then Jason Statham and Jet Li in War the first two days. But I'd fall asleep in the middle of them and have frantic, violent fever dreams. The fever dreams inspired by Wednesday were much more reasonable. I liked it and Jenna Ortega was pretty cool in it, I thought.

The biggest problem with that show is the casting of Gomez Addams. Not because Luis Guzmán is a tremendously ugly man, but because he has no charisma whatsoever.
