Of course it should. Gigantic monstrous corporations that promote horrible things and exploit their workers should of course be exploited back.

They deserved to be fired, but that guy a while back who got caught outsourcing his own job to India should have been promoted

Here's a personality flaw of mine. I feel like everything is my fault
Shit hit the fan on two separate matters today, after months of fermentation.
The first was the result of a mistake I made originally. It had since passed through the hands of multiple other people, including people whose job it is to make sure I'm not making dumb mistakes. But I still blame myself
The second was the result of someone else's original mistake, but it did pass through my hands at one point and I didn't notice the mistake to rectify it. It's not necessarily my job to notice stuff like that, but even still, I probably could have but didn't. I blame myself for this one, too
And now I feel like everyone is mad at me, though there is zero evidence of this. I wouldn't even know the shit had hit the fan on either of these if I wasn't paying attention. No one has even said anything to me and they probably blame themselves and not me. But I feel bad
No drastic consequences, ftr, at worst we made someone pay for an hour of parking downtown that they shouldn't have needed. But I feel bad!

I kinda default to that sometimes, too. Probably delusions of control, or importance.

Argo, the important thing is to learn from all these mistakes you keep making.

Do the bare minimum to hang in there Argo. Those others depend on you making the odd mistake in order to justify their roles and they become obsolete and surplus to requirement if you don’t. Youre keeping people employed. This is a good thing
Look at it that way.

I’m only in the door 3 weeks and they told me today I have 18 days holiday to take before the end of the year. Paid. Normal jobs here you have to build up your holidays, 21 days over the year. Gov jobs different though and you get them the moment you start.
No idea what to do or where I’d even go

I say stay put. Last time you traveled you single-handedly brought COVID to Europe.
