This is BS, isn't this year 25th anniversary of the band yet they cant give us a couple new tunes. An EP, Lost Dogs 2 etc. I love PJ but they are way too predictable nowadays, they follow the same formula. A couple mentions in interviews about a new album then we get said album 3 years later. How about releasing the massive amount of BSides that we all know you have because chances are those are better than anything new PJ puts out. I'm not saying they aren't capable of still making good music I just don't think they want to put that much effort into it. Eds the problem, Its Ed

They can't release any b-sides bc that means they'll actually have to write brand new songs for an album, and that takes more effort

Yup - but with their current 'do the bare minimum on an album' mantra - you think they've written and recorded extra songs that haven't been put onto record?

I was thinking the other day that PJ have dished up 24 tracks since 2006. 11 off BS, Ole and the 12 off LB.

I guess the 5 Xmas single tracks too. Still it's pretty poor for a decade.

I've taken 24 dumps over the last 3 weeks that were all more entertaining than those songs

I envy your regularity.

It would be really interesting to hear the bsides from the last 10 years to see whether the band made some terrible last minute tracking mistakes , like binaural. Or they actually did just record the bare minimum and the bsides are also just crap and half assed. Maybe the bsides are just 3 different versions of "of the earth" and "supersonicmorphis" which is why there's no rush to release them
