The Molly Shannon scene in J&SBR is one of the most awkward and unfunny things I've ever seen

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

She has never ever ever made me laugh but she's not the prolem with the scenetragabigzanda wrote:well go easy on Molly Shannon, she's a talented gal who could use the work
I absolutely love what she's doing in Wet Hot American Summer.theplatypus wrote:She has never ever ever made me laugh but she's not the prolem with the scenetragabigzanda wrote:well go easy on Molly Shannon, she's a talented gal who could use the work
why are you proud? I saw every Smith movie. I was a huge fan back then with Chasing Amy, Mallrats and Dogma. But he has been sucking for a loooong time and this flick is just plain awful. Its worst that the previous Jay and Silent Bob, which was horrible.durdencommatyler wrote:Hustlers is brilliant. Joker to me is kinda like There Will Be Blood; not a brilliant film, but a brilliant performance. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot I have not seen and am shocked Guy saw it. Proud of you, Guy.
Oh man, its just....but i think everything with his kid is worst. She is awful really. There is no comedic timing. No fucking one moment.theplatypus wrote:The Molly Shannon scene in J&SBR is one of the most awkward and unfunny things I've ever seen

I'm just saying a lot of people wouldn't even give him a chance given his recent output. I think it's cool that you still do. I'm trying to fucking compliment you, I don't know why you want to make it weird.VinylGuy wrote:Because i still watch his movies?

That seems like a really common critique of Kevin Smith and I honestly just don't understand that. The guy has always come across as genuine to me. He's always seemed like someone who really appreciates that he gets to do this at all. *shrugs*VinylGuy wrote:Red State was alright yeah....But mainly the guy has been faking it for sooo long. Even Tusk...what a waste. He is so fucking full of himself.
