Yesterday my dad agreed with me it’s kinda sad we have two people to choose from in the next election that are both in their late 70s, but in the same breath he described Drumpf as completely lucid and very energetic.

near the midway point for a typical flu season annual death number (wasn't annual flu death estimates 30,000 - 60,000 ?)

What is going to be the excuse when this passes influenza? Can't use that as a crutch anymore.

(I feel bad using numbers like this to discuss the pandemic. I know each of those numbers are lives, from this pandemic and typical influenza. Just feels weird)

It’s almost weird, how exactly like the midterms this looks. They were certain then that a xenophobic anti-immigration stance was going to help them reverse the polling, even as the polling showed them they were moving backwards.
