I dont care about watching movies or tv shows anymore because every fucking movie and tv show these days are so fucking dark i legit can't see whats happening on the screen.
From game of thrones, to mandolorian, to outsiders, to fucking whatever....
Im just gonna watch seinfeld and friends.

i have both problems...i need to buy dark curtains..every god damn channel when you stream is at a different volume..i can barely hear msnbc but local abc blows the speakers out...fuck

I think it's because they're often grading in HDR, and if you don't have a proper setup in a totally dark room, it can get dim as fuck. The grading in dark scenes is so delicately optimized for the best displays that it seems like they forget how that's gonna translate to 99% of the screens of the world.

When I saw Solo in the cinema I was sure there was something wrong with the projector it was so dark.
Nope. Got it at home and it’s just dark.
Seems to be a thing but Fuck knows what or why

There are a few annoying Bay-isms and lame humor but I thought the action was done well. Which is not something I'd say about anything in Transformers.

I watched Crash last night and honestly teared up during the scene where the shop owner goes to the locksmith’s house and his daughter runs outside.
